Our Red Shed Blend (pronounced ‘coo-VAY day la Bree Rooj’) is inspired by the great blended red wines of the Southern Rhône region of France.
Our 2016 Winemaker's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon spent 20 months in barrel. The wine has notes of nougat, dark chocolate, and brandied cherries, with sweet oak notes and rich, chewy tannins.
Relative to previous vintages of Black Rabbit, the 2016 Black Rabbit Red displays ripe opulent fruit flavor and lighter structure. Black cherry, plum, dried fig dominate with a spicy undercurrent of cherry bark, faint mint, and toasted oak.
